"Seven Up for Heart of England Co-op and elexa" - 7th January 2008
2008 sees the Heart of England Co-operative Society signing a 12 month contract with elexa Consultants to provide technical assistance in respect of their COA Solutions e5 financial accounting system. This will be the 7th consecutive year that such provision has been provided by elexa and enables the society to receive technical and operational cover to a prescribed service level. The financial application has been smoothly running in-house for the last 6 years with elexa providing proactive operational support.
The planned technical consultancy covers the Solaris operating system with regard to file system management and Solaris tuning and monitoring. Oracle database management support is also undertaken providing application of Oracle fixes, network and tablespace management, backups and restores, performance monitoring and tuning, management of rollback segments and user roles and privileges.
