"Aegon's Incident Management System Goes Live " - 3rd December 2007
The development and deployment of an Incident Management System at Aegon's HQ in Edinburgh is now complete. Aegon's requirement was for an application that would allow the creation, updating and tracking of incidents in their Finance and Actuarial Systems function. Additional functionality included multiple levels of user access, storage of documents in a variety of electronic formats to be assigned to an incident, incidents assigned to a user for action, email notification during key events, real time enquiry using selection criteria and the extraction of enquiry data into .CSV files for interrogation outside of the application.
Jeff Laidler, elexa's consultant for Aegon commented "Aegon's requirement was specific in as much as it had to be developed using the .NET Framework and SQL Server technologies. The development was straight forward and facilitated the incorporation of extra requirements during the development phase without affecting the delivery schedule. Deployment of the application was relatively straight forward too and involved co-operating with Netstore as they host Aegon's applications servers."
