Who are elexa?
elexa Consultants were established in October 2001 and since then we have provided support and IT consultancy to
over 40 organisations encompassing many market sectors.
The company's head office is located on the Belasis Hall Technology Park, Billingham, Teesside and houses the product
development, support and help desk operations for our business.
Our on-going investment in training and R&D allow us to develop cutting edge products that in turn enable any organisation to achieve their business requirements. This puts elexa in a position of strength to constantly extend the range of products and services offered to our customer base.
We provide a level of service to our customers that is unparalleled within our field. Our adaptability and
company culture has always meant that we have a very close relationship with our customers and so customer
care is a given and not just a mission statement. At elexa we are big enough to cope, small enough to care.
What are our skills?

Our consultants have an average of 23 years IT experience, ranging from full life cycle project management and
application development, to developing bespoke cutting edge e-commerce software solutions. All of the team are Professional Members (MBCS) of the British Computer Society, the leading body for those working in IT, which confers group membership of the society on elexa Consultants.

elexa's consultants have expert knowledge in many areas including:
- Application development and support utilising innovative skills in Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Macromedia Studio MX, MySQL, PHP, SSL, VB, and XML
- Application development and support within an IBM mainframe environment, incorporating COBOL,
CICS, IMS, DB2 and Oracle
- Application development and support within an Unix environment, incorporating COBOL and
Oracle
- Provision of Unix administration and programming covering AIX, Solaris, HP-UX and Linux
- Provision of Oracle administration and programming within the aforementioned Unix environments
